The 150 MW Cabin Creek solar farm, the second largest planned solar project in Montana, has signed a contract with developer Clenera for construction and a 15-year PPA with Basin Electric Power Cooperative.
The project is scheduled to begin construction in 2022 or early 2023. The solar farm is expected to come into operation by the end of 2023 and power around 30,000 households.
